Return to Xanga

I am back here.  Some of you may know, I'm pretty stubborn when I am used to something.  So it might have been inevitable that I come back here.

My in experienced thoughts on other places I've tried.

Cyworld - not enough users.  So I pretty gave up on that before I even started.
Facebook - It's ok.  Cumbersome at times.  Plus, way too much exposure there.  I think I'll just stick to xanga.  I'll continue to do mini updates there too.

For the most part I think I'm gonna stick with Xanga.  It's no big deal if no one ever comes here.  I do it more for myself than anything else.  A nice easy and quiet place to leave my thoughts.

I used to write my personal thoughts here too.  And maybe I'll start that again someday.  For now, just a place for me to share my not-so-personal thoughts.

Sorry for my sparse updates, but I'm doing really good.

I've also started a cyworld from the us side, us.cyworld.com/dlseven777 is my cyworld.

I probably won't update it as much, but that might change in the near future :D

I've been praying about a lot of things, and one of the more important prayers is being answered.  I just need to make sure I don't miss the timing.  In any case, if things go favorably I'll have plenty to write about :D  And if they don't, the world won't end, at least not just yet :)

But yeah, I will be doing my updates on cyworld now.  But don't hold your breath for an update :)

FYI: you have to allow pop ups for cyworld to work :)

Things are looking pretty good for me these days.  Well spiritually that is.  For a whole month I was able to write something in the prayer journal every day.  I hope to continue this for the next month.

Also I have been using the financial planner as well.  I dunno if I'm doing it write, but for the time being I'm only recording how much I have and how much I have spent each day.  I've not become financially bountiful, but I can't expect money miracles in one month :)

Also I have started a forum with a church friend.  Basically we have planned to meet online on Wednesdays to discuss Pastor Ryu's 1st service message.  So from Sunday to Wednesday we promised each other to watch that message at least once so we can discuss it the coming Wednesday.  Our first meeting will be next week.  I'm kind of excited to do it since it is a forum within the gospel.  If anyone wants to join us you are free to come.  Just send an email to me that way I know your coming.  We are meeting through msn messenger so you'll have to get that first if you want to join us.

On a side note: for some reason I am getting more and more and more tired each day.  I don't know why, but I have signed up with 24-hour fitness so hopefully exercising more will solve that problem.  Otherwise it has to be a spiritual thing and then I'll have to fight it a different way :)

Take care all!

It's a miracle we can still communicate with each other amidst all the things flying around in our minds.

Some good news and some bad news.

Well good news is much better than the bad news.  So I will start with that.

I got a promotion at work.  Originally I was planning on going the route of being a teacher.  In fact I had already started doing some research on where I wanted to go to get certified.  I had decided to go to UT in the UTeach program.  It seemed very promising.  However, at the same time I was praying to God on how I was going to tell the company I was working for.  Mainly because I don't think they were taking care of me that well.  I mean they are all good people, but with all businesses they are greedy.  It's funny they all claim to be Christian, but don't really do things in a Christian sort of way.  In any case, through much prayer I ended having a long talk with my boss.  And he mentioned that there will be an opening for programmers soon.  When I heard this I had to think about it for awhile.  I went home, talked with a few people, before deciding that it was the right thing to do.  What this means is I won't be going to Austin next year.

I really looked forward to going down to Austin and also being part of their church while I was there.  But I guess it just isn't in God's time schedule yet.  I am left with the few visits that I can make down there a year.  But I hope my friends aren't too disappointed.  I have set my heart on working for my current company for a long while.  And I truly hope it is within God's plan.

Bad news: i'm stuck at my dealership waiting 2 hours for them to finish work on my car.  Oh wells.  At least they have internet.
